In March, 2007, under the massive Istanbul Urban Redevelpmet Project, a whole sector of houses in Ayazma nieghborhood were demolished. While landlord were relocated, tennants were left to their destiny.
18 families of Kurdish origin are still standing there, living in tents, to claim their right to an housing.
