Forum Mondiale sui Diritti Umani, la solidarietà internazionale contro gli sfratti

Word Human Rights Forum (Marrakech, 29 november 2014) Al Forum Mondiale sui Diritti Umani (Marrakech, 27-30 novembre 2014), diverse organizzazioni sociali riunite su iniziativa del Réseau Marocain du Logement Décent e dell'Alleanza Internazionale degli Abitanti, hanno manifestato in solidarietà contro gli sfratti degli abitanti dalle loro case, in particolare con le lotte di Milano (Italia), di via Ilushina 15/2 (S. Pietroburgo, Russia) e di Abahlali (Sud Africa).

The National Network of Inhabitants of Cameroon is organizing, November 26 to 29, 2014 , in Yaounde, the fourth edition of the Triennial of Inhabitants, on the theme: Make the right to the city a prerequisite to the right to adequate housing ; which aims to adopt an urban trajectory to transform precarious housing, promote alternative social housing, and defend the rights of the victims of neoliberal policies of financing and land grabbing.

Algérie,Il est temps de geler toutes les décisions d'expulsion

Le phénomène d'expulsion des familles prend des proportions graves dans notre pays. Selon le  président du comité SOS familles expulsées, Hakim Salmi, «le nombre de familles expulsées ne cesse d'augmenter de jour en jour». Leur nombre atteint à ce jour 1580 familles, ce qui constitue à ses yeux une bombe à retardement qui menace la stabilité d'un nombre important de familles». Plus grave, dira-t-il, ce qui a envenimé la situation de ces familles, c'est qu'elles ne bénéficient d'aucune prise en charge de la part des autorités.

Alger, Plus de 1000 familles expulsées recensées

Le comité SOS expulsion, hébergé par la Ligue de défense des droits de l’homme (LADDH), exige un quota de logements de la wilaya. Les opérations de relogement  entreprises ont concerné les occupants des baraques, de familles touchées dernièrement par le séisme, mais aucunement les expulsés qui désespèrent de voir l’administration de la wilaya leur réserver un quota, comme ils le réclament depuis plusieurs années. Le comité SOS expulsion, hébergé par la Ligue de défense des droits de l’homme (LADDH), créé il y a 4 ans, est résigné.

Appeal to activist of Rights to Housing and Land: Join the Global Campaign of 2014 for the Right to Housing in Africa!

All over the African continent, local communities are suffering serious violations of the rights to housing and land. The International Alliance of Inhabitants appealed to all-e-s the activist-e-s for the right to land and housing around the continent to organize and participate in the framework of the World Zero Evictions Days- for in massive actions during the whole month of October 2014, demanding respect of the right to housing and land for all, the immediate end of forced evictions well as land grabbing, and stopping of persecution and intimidation of the activists.

Accra, Greater Accra Region, Ghana. September 8, 2014 The Slum Union of Ghana, with the full solidarity of the International Alliance of Inhabitants, wishes condemn in the strongest terms possible the illegal demolishing that took place at Mensah-Guinea, a neighborhood of Accra on Friday September 5, 2014 rendering over 1000 people (including women and children) homeless.
