March to Fulfill the Dream, New Orleans – Voices of the Homeless
On our way out of New Orleans we visited The Mission, a homeless services provider just blocks away from the city’s main business district, to listen to the voices of the unheard. According to New Orleans Mission’s website, “Since Hurricane Katrina homelessness in New Orleans has increased from 6,000 to over 19,000 .”
